Welcome to the wide world of Laura. Enjoy your stay here and let me know what you think.
Have you ever had a vision? Not some little funky dream thing but a vision about your life. An example would be a vision for the week. Your vision could be to finish organizing your room or cleaning your car. Your vision for your life could be to have the perfect marriage in the perfect house with the 2.5 perfect kids. Well, I have somewhat of a vision. I want to create an online refuge for people. Somewhere that they can find a place that isn't filled with nast or any punk mess junk. I want to create a place of sheer peace that has suggestions for life. I want this place to have a strong Christian influence. Yes, I did just say Christian. That dreaded 9 letter C-Word that sends cringes down the back of the unfamiliar and scared. The word Christian isn't half as bad as your bible-thumpin Grandma causes you to perceive it to be. By no strectch of the imagination does the word mean perfect. It is more of a goal. Christian in all reality means Little Christ. For those of you who read this without any biblical history, Christ was perfect. He was also the Holy Spawn of God. So He wasn't mere human to become full of flaw. He was the model of perfection, love, grace. He is the reason that Christianity exists. Christians have a "simple" goal of following Christ. How do you follow someone who isn't living though. Here comes the challenge. You have to read. There is this book called the HOLY BIBLE. Think of it as the ultimate player's guide to life. It is full of lessons and teachings of Jesus Christ and the priests of the times before Him. It is full of all things that you would need to help you out of deteriorating situations. The only catch is you actually have to read it. You can't just sit it in your lap and cry out to it what your problems are. It is by no means a Magic 8-Ball. Although that would make the quick problems easier. So this place is a Christian focused refuge for the people tired and weary of what the world has to offer. With God's help I intend to make this a place for you.
